History: The entire estate: residence, vines, land belonged to the Juigny de Lassigny family. This family was allied by marriage in 1849 to the Rohan Chabot. The viscount and colonel of cavalry Henri Marie Eléonore Jean de Rohan Chabot (1897-1993) sold it in 1942 to Mrs. Davaye, from Lorgues, who sold it in 1960 to Mr. Paul le Chevalier de Préville. The latter separated from the vines which constituted the Castel Roubine wine estate and which had different owners. Based on old plans, Mr. de Préville restored the castle which had suffered enormously from lack of maintenance.
